Like the other nine people in my Exodus group I had only a vague preconceived image of what to expect in Albania ; possibly a rather drab, depressed society still struggling to free itself from the recent shackles of communism but with the compensatory prospect of some decent walking in a remote and little-known corner of Europe. The reality was almost overwhelming : the scenery (whether mountain or coastal) was stunning, towns and cities were bright and lively, clean, and seemingly safe; the depth of history and heritage was fascinating; and the locals were exceptionally friendly and welcoming wherever we went.
A varied trip with excellent scenery and loads of lemurs. You learn a lot about the people and culture of this island. I was a little nervous because of the journey times but very pleased I went. You'll see no other country like it.
This is an exciting holiday that goes to a place many operators don't, that is why i chose it. I feel considering the overall cost, meals should be included every night, like most other operators. This was a trial run for this holiday at this time of year, and guests must be aware of the heat in Sicily. Overall a very good holiday that i would recommend.
This is a really special trek at altitude in the most amazing scenery. Because the Huayhuash is a small mountain range, there was an intimate feel in the closeness of the snow topped mountains, glaciers and lakes.
A wonderfully challenging 2-week trek in the Alps. All my expectations were met and exceeded. We had blue skies, amazing views, snow capped mountains in all directions, glaciers, snow fields, wild flowers and a really great group made it a holiday to remember for a long time.
