Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
If you like snorkelling, take a snorkel for use at the lake.
Take some things for the Njobvu village project, they really appreciate it. They loved the little wind up radio that someone on our trip gave them. Educational materials, clothes, toys, wind up radios and torches are all useful.
Take plenty of dollars and do not change Malawian kwacha into Zambian kwacha at the border - the rate is poor. Instead, ask to stop at an ATM or exchange place in Chipata.
Avoid blue clothes - apparently the tsetse flies are attracted to blue!
