Mt Toubkal Climb

Fantastic Experience with a Wonderful Group

5
I was not really sure what to expect from the trip having not experienced a trekking holiday before but this turned out to be a truly enjoyable trip. The group was sixteen people and a complete mix of backgrounds and ages which made for entertaining conversation over the week we had together. Unseasonal cold weather meant a last minute change to the planned itinerary which was unfortunate but entirely unavoidable and the weather prevented us scaling the second (optional) 4000m peak but the alternative local Hammam experience was a great substitute for our tired bodies.

An action packed, extremely enjoyable and informative experience which included seeing amazing historical sights such as the Forbidden City, The Great Wall and the Terracotta Warriors but also gave an insight into the way of life in modern China.

Cycling in Greece

An excellent all-round trip

5
This was my first Exodus cycling trip and I was thoroughly impressed from start-to-finish. The trip involved five 50-70km days and a 6th day which involved a morning of rest in Loutraki and an afternoon/evening of sightseeing in Athens. We were on the road from 9am -5/6pm each day; stints of cycling along beautiful coastal or mountain roads were split up with fantastic lunches, visits to cultural sites including the theatre at Epidavros and the citadel at Mycenae, and a trip to a winery. We ate as a group in excellent restaurants each evening, and the hotels were all comfortable. There were two nights in Athens (one at the start, one at the end), four in coastal resorts (good for swimming) and one in Mycenae, where the hotel had a pool.

Carpathian Walking & Bears

A truly enjoyable week of varied walking and bear spotting. The Villa Hermani is comfortable (once we got the issues with heating and hot water sorted) and the food is plentiful and delicious. It was also great to have a day sightseeing at Brasov which is a very pretty place.

Cape Town to Victoria Falls - Hotel/Lodge

Feast for your eyes

5
This great trip from Cape Town to Victoria via Namibia and Botswana was a visual feast of amazing geology: the heights of Table Mountain, the depths of Fish River Canyon, the stunning sand dunes and desert-scape of Namibia and Etosha Pan across to the thunder of Victoria Falls. And then there were the animals of your story books: elephants, rhino, giraffes, zebra, lions, hippos and enough variety of 'bok' to make your head spin - we saw at least 30 animals you would not find in nature at home, and loads of birdlife. This was the trip of a lifetime!

Cycling in Greece

A wonderful way to see Greece beyond just the beaches and the Acropolis - though you get those as well. Mostly it was small towns , back roads through orange & olive groves, and historical sites in the countryside. Hotels were, Athens aside, beautifully located and near-empty. Going for a swim in the sea to cool down after the day's cycling was a regular event. It was my first cycling holiday but I needn't have worried. I'm someone who cycles for an average 2-3 hours per week and the pace was fine with regular stops for water and snacks. Some steep hills but they were fairly short and the bikes had 24 gears so everyone just went up them slowly. One particularly long but not steep climb on the way from Galatas to Epidavros was the worst bit.

Cycling in Sardinia

Fantastic trip

5
This was a fabulous trip with a great group of people and two excellent guides. The island is stunning and whilst the cycling is challenging at times , the downhill parts and the undulating terrain made the whole experience really enjoyable. This is our fifth trip with Exodus ( first cycling one) and they seem to get better and better - using local guides has really made a difference as their passion for the area really comes through. We'd recommend this trip to anyone.

Cycling the Dalmatian Coast

Cycljng from Split to Dubrovnik

This is described as moderate but there are some long steep hills. Don't let this put you off as the guide gets you all to the top. This is how you feel achievement. You can always hitch a ride in the van on the worst bit.
