Simien Mountains Trek

I would highly recommend this trek to anyone who is looking for a challenging 10 day trek. The sstunning cenery and potential to observe in close contact the local wild life makes this a truly once in a life time experience.

Green Hills faraway

We came prepared for a few hiccups and certainly the interminable immigration formalities at Addis and the snails pace drive to the hotel reflected these concerns but as soon we were entrusted to the excellent care of your guide Kibrom the hiccups subsided. The first afternoon in Addis was not all that inspiring - particularly the rather sad museum, but once we got to Bahatr Dar things got moving. Gonder and the the long drive to Debark and on to Axum was not something we would have wished to miss. Magnificent walk in mountains with which we could cope. What views of green and intensive cultivation. . Axum will be more presentable when the roads are finished but what stellae when you compare with celtic Brittany, although they are not the Queen of Sheba's vintage. Then to Lalibella which lived up to expectations. Other reviewers have been a bit dismissive of the final days in the south but we felt they complimented the north - we enjoyed the birds hippos and views of their agriculture particularly the amazing polythene greenhouses which have taken much of the flower trade from these islands.

cycling the cape

the views are fantastic the cycling is good but I was a bit disappointed with the tour guide he either wanted to cook for us or take us to a restaurant of his choice so we never had a chance to look around the towns we visited. It would have been nice to have a choice a few evenings just to do your own thing .

Discovering Myanmar

A very enjoyable trip, made more so by the knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide, who was clearly very proud of his work and his country, its people, culture, food and traditions. Whilst some long days in hot weather are quite tiring, it is not an arduous trip, and the internal flights are a good way of minimising long road journeys.

An Amazing Experience

From the mayhem that is the streets of Delhi to the tranquility of Chitwan and onto the natural beauty of Nepal, this is a non stop sense smacking adventure! Sometimes you have to pitch yourself to believe what you are seeing is real, from the animals wandering in the streets, to the magnificent temples and scenery. India was full of wonderful man made sights, but Nepal commanded her natural beauty. Everywhere people will happily wave to you, want their photograph taken with you and ask where you are from. This is a well balanced insight into India and Nepal and has whetted my appetite for further travel.
