We did have a very good experience, we saw some amazing wildlife but are left with some sense dissatisfaction. We didn't get the walking experiences we expected and there was a the lack of cultural input to the tour. There was some disconnect between the expectations based on the Exodus trip description and the tour provided by Great American Adventures.
In addition, the trip involved driving long distances in a small bus and "participative camping", particularly in some sites that were not up to the standard we expected.
The tour definitely needs second tour guide, who is very well informed about the country. Although guides in National Parks etc provided some of this, if the tour does not offer this cultural content it becomes a interesting but superficial road trip.
