We had a wonderful time, met some lovely people, saw some fantastic places, and enjoyed Croatia immensely
Getting to the top of the walks and enjoying the scenery
He was wonderful, you have a really good guy working for you.
I personally found the walks quite difficult, I think it was a mixture of ascent and heat that caused me problems, having said that, I would do it all again
Just a big thank you, our accommodation was excellent and the whole trip was organised and delivered brilliantly.
Great trip, varied and inspiring scenery and cultural sites.
Getting to the top of all the climbs for fantastic views. And the peka meal in Bol was fantastic.
Great value, knowledgeable and friendly.
Dalmatian food is very meaty.
Just got back from a great walking holiday. First time for us, we did under estimate the level of walking, and thought it was quite tough However I wouldn't hesitate to book another trip, we had a fantastic time.
Getting to the top. It was always a challenge, I'm so glad I did it, Croatia is a beautiful country.
Out leader was delightful, nothing was too much trouble,, he was patient, kind and very knowledgeable. You have a gem there. Thank you Zeljko
The pathways are very rugged and not well defined. Take it slowly and be prepared for steep climbs and descents.
There was a carpet of wild flowers and herbs which smelled wonderful. Take time to pause and take in your surrounding.
In recent years Croatia has regained its place as a popular tourist destination with visitor levels nearly as high as before the Balkan conflict. Unfortunately a large number of hotels were damaged beyond repair either directly or indirectly during those years and demand now heavily outstrips supply. As a result hotel prices are high and Croatia is not the cheap destination some might expect.
Hotels tend to be more workmanlike than luxurious with communist era style architecture and facilities. Top end hotels are available but charge top end prices and are not used on this trip.
