Discover Sri Lanka

A well planned and varied itinerary which provided a good insight into the people, culture and landscape of the island. All the activities were very enjoyable and there was plenty of free time for relaxation at the various hotels. Cycling, walking and the river rafting were a great way of seeing local life and working off some calories from the generally good food. The lunches in the Tsunami House and local cafe were a welcome opportunity to sample local food in authentic surroundings.

Iceland and Northern Lights

Excellent trip with a lot packed in to such a short time. You get to see much more than if you had just booked a trip to stay in Reyjavik. One of the most beautiful Countries I've ever been to.

Trins and the three valleys: Cross-country ski-ing

Good company, expert tuition and local knowledge and excellent local cuisine, as well as masses of exercise amidst great scenery all made for a really good holiday. And we progressed from falling over our feet on day one to reasonable competence, for beginners at least, by the end of the week.

My favourite holiday

This was a great holiday - I arrived feeling exhausted, left feeling rested, but without the slovenly feeling that lying on a sun lounger gives you. The sun shone every day, the views were incredible, the people were great and I had a super time. Our group was quite mixed in ages, and only 4 out of the 14 knew each other, so if you are thinking of coming on your own, you would be in good company.

Winter in Transylvania

An excellent winter break. Relaxed but comprehensive itinerary with a competent leader. No tourist crowds & some lovely towns or villages especially Sighisoara. Most meals are included. Food is good, so not a venue for weight watchers. All hotels were very good, particularly Sighisoara

Great Trip to Burma

Burma is a fascinating country which has has a very immature tourist infrastructure. Go now before it get stripped of its resources and homogenised by mass tourism. If you like temples you will love Burma, but there is a whole lot more to see too.

Patagonian Highlights

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We were a small group of nine people. Pepe our leader was very good and kept us up to date with all the schedules and where we would be walking to on the day as sometimes due to weather conditions changes needed to be made. I went on the upgraded trip (no camping) and I found all of the hostels and hotels very comfortable and the staff were accommodating. Some of us were lucky to see ice being calved from the glacier - that was amazing.
