After a couple of backpacking trips to far flung places, the travel industry seemed the obvious path for Olly. Since joining Exodus, he's been fortunate enough to continue his travels on 'work' trips as often as possible. Thanks to Exodus he's developed a passion for trekking, and has been sent up Mont Blanc, Mt Toubkal, Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp, Stok Kangri, Mt Triglav, and the Inca Trail. He now resides in the Sales team.

Whilst working behind a desk in the City of London, Peter took a break to backpack his way through Vietnam. On his return he wasn’t the same and swiftly set off around the world visiting over a fifth of the world’s nations and living for a time in New Zealand. Returning to Britain still full of the quest for adventure he joined Exodus, where his travels continue to this day and his expertise can be put to good use.

Marta’s passion for travel and languages started at a very young age. Tiring of her little village in Italy she decided to cross the border and travel around Europe, hoping to improve her English, Spanish and German. It was England however that stole her heart: after studying in the UK as an Erasmus student in 2009, her life has never been the same! After taking a Masters in Tourism Destination Management she joined Exodus as a Customer Operations Executive, where she looks after trips to Italy, Spain and Portugal – she hasn’t forgotten her Mediterranean origins!

Murray inherited the travel bug early on in life from his globe-trotting parents - spending every school holiday in far-flung destinations around the world. Living in Central America during his Gap Year, he went on to study Tourism Management in his native Scotland before moving to Japan on the JET programme, teaching English to teenagers in Sapporo city. Since returning from the Far East, Murray has concentrated on visiting countries a little closer to home, including Morocco, Norway and Central Europe, where he now looks after the Exodus Operations.

A love of cycling from an early age meant that Andy was always destined to travel. This began with cycling to and from school, followed by a misspent youth racing BMX bikes. The distances have increased a little since then, culminating with two 4000+ mile rides around the States and Mexico. Five years leading cycling, trekking and snowshoe trips for Exodus enabled him to travel much further afield and this experience is put to good use in his current role managing the short haul Product team.

Having spent a few years abroad as a child, Tom has always been interested in travelling, visiting new places and trying new sports and activities. Each trip and each destination has something to offer, be it the scenery, culture, the activity itself or all of these combined. The travel industry has been a great place to indulge his passion and he counts himself lucky enough to have gone on some fantastic trips in a personal and professional capacity. Though now settled in sunny suburbia his enthusiasm for discovery is as strong as ever.

As comfortable in French or Italian as she is in English, a passion for languages started Amanda's travels across Western Europe. Although her primary aim was to be understood, she found a new world of cultures and traditions that were much more fascinating. Language gives us unique insight into a nation and it is simply the ability to communicate (even with hand signals as in Italy!) that inspires Amanda. From the day to day running of Exodus tours to looking after various areas in product and sections of the Discovery, Wildlife and Adventure brochure, her language skills have been used throughout and maintain her passion for travel.

Having spent several winter ski seasons whizzing down the alpine slopes and summer seasons working at a watersports school in the south of France, Chloe's passion for travel began whilst at university. Shortly after, she spent 2 years living in Australia and New Zealand before heading back to the UK to begin her career in travel. Her role as Product Manager has meant that not only has she been able to enjoy some great European trekking and activity trips, but also to discover a new found love of the Middle East.

At the tender age for 40(ish), Mike is already an Exodus old-timer. Joining Exodus in 1995, with 5 years as a tour leader where he specialised in the Himalayas and Latin America, Mike finally hung up his trekking boots after 2 years in the Pyrenees running trekking, biking and snowshoeing trips. Back in the office Mike developed our Winter Activities programme before moving into operations. As Operations Director, Mike's mission is now to 'make Health and Safety interesting' (good luck Mike) while maintaining Exodus' spirit of adventure!

Olly joined Exodus over a decade ago, having initially been a client in Morocco. He had a mini epiphany sitting on a boulder at Toubkal basecamp, and decided a tour leader's life was the one for him! He's a hardcore mountain biker and has spent most of the past 20 years searching for that perfect stretch of swoopy singletrack! He now splits his time between looking after our team of UK based leaders and jetting off overseas to run training courses for our teams of local leaders. Not a bad life, all things considered!
