We had a great time --our 16 year old really enjoyed the optional activities like sea kajak, para gliding and turkish bath -- more than the walking part of the trip. The good thing about it was that he could; our group leader organized everything beautifully.
Great holiday with a good combination of activities (i.e. yoga), trips and free time by the pool. The group I was with turned out the be a great bunch. The only downer really was the heat. With a temperature range between 38 - 45 dergrees C it was Scorchio!
I thought the area was spectacular and the terrain was tough. particularly the boulders on the way to the summits so it was a tough C, but I think that was the right grade for the trip. The place we stayed was great and was run by very nice people. It was nice to share the place with a number of French and German families who were all very friendly.
It was a real adventure. The views were spectacular and the support from our guides, muleteers and cooks was excellent. The hotel accomodation in Cusco was poor and the accomodation the evening after Silver Springs was poor and the food was cold. Exodus need to review these hotels and provide alternatives.
This was my second Exodus trip, and it was well run and as the saying goes,it was exactly as it said on the tin!My only gripe would be the sleeping conditions of some of the huts, and the lack of hot water!Overall I really enjoyed it.
A wonderful trip, striking the perfect balance between relaxation on the trains and plenty of sight-seeing and fantastic experiences. Our tour leader and the local guides were all extremely helpful, interesting and fun to be with: I can't quite believe some of the things that we managed to do and see. It will be a trip that I remember always.
A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We had a small group (7), which made everything very easy. Hotel was basic but nice. Pool was fantastic - nice place to relax after a walk. Kas itself is very nice and easygoing - no hassles (dramatically different from the crass overcommercialisation of Marmaris).
